4. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect our forms against automated submissions we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. During verification, technical information (in particular the IP address and browser and device characteristics) is transmitted to Cloudflare to determine whether the input comes from a person. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: Cloudflare privacy policy.

5. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and cookies

In order to analyse traffic on our website and continuously improve its quality, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (for users in Europe and Switzerland) and Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored on your device) that make it possible to analyse the use of the website.

IP anonymisation: In GA4, IP address masking (anonymisation) is enabled by default, meaning your IP address is shortened before being stored by Google, which prevents direct identification of the user.

Data transfer to the USA: The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website may be transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the USA. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which guarantees the adequate level of data protection required by Swiss law.

Objection (opt-out): You can prevent the collection and processing of data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also disable the use of cookies directly in your web browser settings.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to request information about the personal data we process.
  • The right to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • The right to request the deletion of your personal data, unless we are legally obliged to keep it.
  • The right to restrict the processing of your data.
  • The right to data portability (return of your data in a commonly used format).

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the e-mail address given in the section “Data controller”.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this Privacy Policy at any time and without notice so that it always meets the legal requirements in force or to reflect changes to our services. The current version published on our website is always the applicable one. Any change takes effect upon publication.
